Miles' first cousins came from Dallas and loved playing with their baby cousin. Miles thought they were pretty fun too! We took all the kids to see Ratatouille at the El Capitan. It was fun to watch the preshow live entertainment and catch the action heroes lining Hollywood Blvd.

Mmmmm Donuts!! Mmmmm Squishees

Don't have a cow man! The Burbank 7-11 rebranded itself as a Kwik-E-Mart this month to build on the hype of the Simpsons movie. So it was only fitting for the family to make a trip to the Kwik-E-Mart to pick up some Doh-nuts and squishees (aka slurpees). Miles posed for pics with the various Simpsons characters and even rubbed Apu's head. And Apu told Miles, "Thank you. Come again!" We will.

Chillin' in the backyard pool

Sure, we don't have a pimped-out pool, but the kiddie wading pool works just fine. Miles enjoyed his first "swim" in it last weekend. It was a great way to cool off in the 100-degree heat.
