Finger painting has never been this fun

Miles tried finger painting for the first time so he could give his favorite babysitter, Lesley, a painting for Christmas. How do you think it turned out?

We decided earlier to only post one video of Miles walking. But so many of you have sent comments that we thought you'd enjoy this one too--particularly the way it ends.

And he's off...

Miles seems to be mastering the art of walking. He can now go for about 30 steps before falling down. And he loves to make loud happy noises with each step.

New video: bath time

Miles took a bath and, as you can tell, he's become a pro at mimicking, much to his father's delight.

Happy Hanukkah

The little guy has been enjoying the Festival of Lights and all of the presents he has received. We're lighting candles every night and Miles *loved* the latkes his mom made--and especially the sour cream. Below, Miles opens presents from Aunt Ro and Grant and Griffin.

Taking a walk

Miles took his first independent steps on Nov. 27--and he's already up to 25 steps! Pretty soon we won't be able to catch him. Wish us luck.

Catching up...Thanksgiving

Our little family braved the airports and headed to Dallas for Turkey Day. We survived--and we had a great time seeing family and friends. Cousin Amy treated Miles to a great haircut. Ashley and Joshua played with their cousin. And the little guy ate and ate and ate.
